Bonny Day 101

The outdoor education movement is growing in response to “traditional” education (worksheets, flashcards, drilling, lecturing, testing, memorization, “perfect” uniform art activities) which has trickled into early childhood, a period of development that particularly benefits from slow, inquiry-based learning and long periods of play. The challenge is, compared to traditional education, that much of true learning can be hard to measure, which is why we love to break down some of these questions and topics, which we will be doing through our “Bonny Day 101” series.
